Two Stranded Twists Performed On Coily Hair… Compliments Of Miss Jessies

Yes!  My hair type!  I love videos that feature people with tightly coiled hair, so I definitely needed to put this on my site.

This video serves as a great instruction for how to twist, and untwist, hair.   The video features Miss Jessie's Baby Buttercreme & Curly Buttercreme.  To be honest, I was happy at 1:56 of the video where the hair model reveals her twisted hair from underneath the dryer hood.  I personally don't know how people do it... spend hours twisting hair only to untwist it.  Hmp... but both styles looked great on the hair model, wouldn't you say?

So, has anyone taken the plunge and tried Miss Jessie's products yet?   How has it worked for you?  I'm a PJ (product junkie) at heart and plan to do some serious shelf stocking very soon... so, what's the one Miss Jessie's product that I should try?

I just started using Miss Jessie's products, and I've found them ALL to be good. I like the Super Slip Sudsy Shampoo and the Rapid Recovery conditioner. For styling, the stretch cream and the curly buttercream are my favorites.

Thanks for the review, @MackDiva! You know I’m dying to try their shampoos and conditioners. For convenience I just may look out and buy them online when I find a good deal. Either way, it’s time to up my PJism for the summer ;-)

I used the curly buttercreme and it did exactly what it showed on the instructional video, I was pleased with the look. I have learned that I have to retwist it at night and cover with a satin cap for the best results – oh yeah and add a little more buttercreme every other night to look it's best. My only concern is that I am new to being natural and everyone I have spoken to say that Miss Jessie's uses ingredients that aren't good for our hair ( mineral oil/petroleum)so the jury is out on if I will get a second jar because it looked and felt great or not because of the ingredients
