Too Tired

back of messy hair

Some days I either have absolutely no time or I'm too tired to do anything to my hair.  A day like this, I just decided that pushing my hot mess back into a ponytail with no combing, no brushing, gel, or moisturizer would do for the moment.  Just goes to show that you don't always have to have a 'polished' look if the moment doesn't call for it.

About Coily Queen

I blog about products, techniques, and processes that work for my type 4 a/b coily hair. My goal is to help teach women and men about my African coily hair texture so that they too can learn how to manage and style 'coily hair.' I get my motivation for my posts from your comments, so please, don't be shy--ask a question or leave a comment!

lol, do you wear your hair “out” every day? I think that’s too time consuming and bad for your hair because it’s too much manipulation. I’m wearing two strand twist, and my goal is to wear them for a month, and then redo them. That way, I don’t have to do my hair everyday and put the stress on my hair from doing constant twist outs, afro puffs, ect.

    Hi Black Bot!

This post was to show that it’s not everyday that I’m thrilled with my hair or want to deal with it. Twists and weaves are my signature styles. I too am wearing twists from last November… retwisting helps to stretch out a hairstyle while allowing your hair to grow. You can see more of them under “Natural Hairstyles” ;-)
